One of the widows together with the group leader and Mama Michael in an orphanage in Ketombeine (which is located clothe to the Kenyan frontier).
A boy eating leaves from a tree because of a lack of food.
A transport arrives: Nine tons of maize, whiteflower, soap, clothes, matchboxes, salt, sunlotion and excercises books will be given to the orphans and widows. However, It will suffice just for two days.
Everyone gets five kilograms of maizeflower, one piece of soap and one excercise book, for example.
Here, a widow’s food is packed.
The picture shows Mama Michael, who supports our project energetically and caringly, together with an orphan.
Many widows live together with the children in the orphanage. They encourage each other as far as possible, creating a friendly atmosphere and a life worth living.
